The Health Lovers Christmas Gift Guide

With Christmas honestly, just around the corner, I am finding myself just a bit stressed thinking about how quickly it has come around. I can’t believe how quickly 2019 has been and time is running out. We all have friends or family members who really value their health so I have written you a list of some of my favourite health things that you could get them for Christmas this year that I know they would love. You've decided you need something on this list? I don't blame you! Why not send them the subtle hint via this blog, or by sending them a cheeky link. You'll thank yourself later.

Skincare

I came across Saya skincare a few years ago, it’s a beautiful and affordable skincare range made in Noosa that’s made with really clean ingredients. When my acne was at its worst it was one skincare regime that was extremely beneficial and did not irritate my skin at all. They also make beautiful little Christmas packs which would make the perfect gift for anyone in the family. I’m also a sucker for lovely branding and theirs is so clean, pretty, and would look amazing on any shelf in your bathroom. Click here to have a look at Saya Skincare’s website.

Herbal tea

Well you know me, I am a lover of all things herbal tea and I now have my own range! You all loved my herbal teas at the 2019 Rural Women’s Health Forum and it really is the perfect Christmas gift. All the herbal tea blends on my website are 100% organic and blended to not only taste great but also help your health. They would be a perfect stocking stuffer, Kris Kingle present, or just the perfect gift for any tea lover you may know. Order yours online today to ensure you get it for Christmas. Activewear

Really could you ever go wrong with activewear? If I could wear it every day I probably would and let’s be honest, many of my days at home, I am in activewear. I have a couple of favourite activewear brands that I thought I would share with you. I absolutely LOVE D plus K leggings, they are Australian made, they are high waisted, and the fabric is just really nice and supportive. When I purchased my first pair of leggings I thought they were amazing and thought it’s only fair to share the secret with you. D and K have a wide range of items including Men's ware, maternity, and sun safe bathers. Run, don't walk, this brand currently has an amazing sale on at the moment so you should definitely run and have a look at their website and snap up a bargain, click here. Another lovely Australian brand of activewear is Active Truth, click here. Both these brands have a full range of sizes, including maternity, which allow for all women to feel beautiful in their beautiful bodies.

Eco friendly

With more and more states banning plastic bags in supermarkets, it's a no brainer to start building our collection of environmentally friendly replacements for those nasty single- use bags. You may have noticed an abundance of health food shops are now offering a number of eco-friendly products ranging from stainless steel straws to scrubbing brushes and a crowd favourite the reusable produce bags. I like gifting these things as people often don’t go out and purchase them for themselves but they are often wanting to make a positive change for the environment. These would also be a great Kris Kingle idea too as they are low cost, but high impact. If you live locally, Health On Gray in Hamilton has a huge range of products as well as a NEW “Waste Free” book. If you are looking to shop online why don't you check out Small Change Katanning, a Bulk Food and Eco Store located in Western Australia, as they have a fantastic range available online.

Something else...

Now I know that we aren’t all health-conscious people but if you were looking for other gift ideas you should definitely check out the #buyfromthebush campaign on Facebook and Instagram. This amazing campaign started to support small businesses in rural areas who are affected by the drought. They currently have a very large following and are making massive efforts to make Christmas easier and more economical for all of us. If physical gifts aren't really your thing then why not book your loved one an experience, #stayinthebush is their sister campaign, posting brilliant accommodation Australia wide. Who doesn't want a holiday for Christmas?!

I wish you all happy shopping and stay tuned over the coming weeks for more blogs on staying healthy at Christmas time.
