With Easter fast approaching we don’t need to fall of the wholefoods lifestyle. We can still eat healthy and have a treat in there as well, it’s all about balance after all. If you are wanting to over indulge in chocolates my suggestion to you are

  • Start your day with lemon in water then a green smoothie

  • Increase your veggies with your main meal

  • And if you have sweet treats over Easter make sure it’s only a day and doesn’t turn into weeks

Chocolate Honeycomb

Ingredients

3 tablespoons honey

1 cup coconut sugar

1 teaspoons bicarb soda

150 grams of melted dark chocolate

Method:

  1. Grease and line a baking dish with baking paper.

  2. Place honey, followed by the coconut sugar into a medium saucepan and stir over a low heat until the sugar dissolves. Can take around 5-10 mins.

  3. Once dissolved, bring the mixture to the boil and gently boil.

  4. Remove from the saucepan from the heat and stir in the bicarb. Pour the mix into the baking dish and set aside to cool.

  5. Once the honeycomb is set chop the honeycomb into pieces and drizzle the melted chocolate over it.

  6. Alternatively you can use nice moulds to put the honeycomb in.
